The Bio air 60 filter is for use in the BioAir 60 nunit and provides a three stage filtration and odour removal.
The filter is treated with an additional bacteristat coating which kills bacteria which tend to form on particles collected in filters. These bacteria in ordinary filters are unhealthy since the cleaned air comes into contact with the bacteria on its way throuigh the filter.
The three elements of the filter are a course filter media to remove dust and other large particles, a convoluted filter to remove smaller particles and smoke and a fine filter with a high activated carbon content to remove very small particles and bacteria and to absorb odours and gasses.
